The following short documents have been written to attempt to deal with many, sometimes fairly complicated, issues related to design of buildings to deliver high performance buildings that are energy efficient. Some considerations related to use of LEED and Energy Efficiency are also covered, as well as the means to use the Energy Star Target Finder tool to obtain an estimated Energy Star rating for new building designs. Please note that, because the issues are complicated, the treatment here is fairly general and first order.
